The Istanbul Photo Awards is an international news photography competition organized by Anadolu Ajansı (AA), a global news agency with more than a century of history. Aimed at advancing the field of photojournalism, the competition honors the efforts of courageous and talented professional photographers from around the world, awarded strictly based on merit. Over the years, it has grown into one of the world’s most respected and well-known photojournalism contests.
